*Image Responses are individual ratings on one of the scales in reference to one of the items of a specific image document. Suppose it was decided that one rater could rate 3 items from a 2-page image ( a TIFF file of the scanning of 2 pages from a testing document). The rater uses 4 rating scales on each of the 3 items. The result would be (4x3) 12 Image Ratings for that specific image. An image is defined as an optimal unit to be rated.
